INTER- COLLEGIATE LEADERSHIP CAMP

           K. R. Narayanan Study Centre is organizing an Inter- Collegiate Students Camp on 20, 21 and 22 January 2012 at Chaithanya Pastoral Centre, Thellakom, Kottayam. This camp is organized for the multi-dimensional development of College students and to equip them to build a good career in the present competitive world. Experienced trainers will handle each session. The focus areas of the camp are Career Development, Personality and Soft-skill Development, Leadership Development etc.

            Fee for registration is Rs. 100 which shall be paid at the time of registration. College Principals can direct a maximum of four students to participate in the programme. Entry form is attached herewith, which should reach on or before 16^th January 2012.  Registration will start at 5.00 pm on 20/1/12 and camp will close at 3.30 pm on 22/1/12. STATE LEVEL SYMPOSIUM ON THE CONTRIBUTIONS OF DR. K.R NARAYANAN TO ERICH DEMOCRATIC VALUES

K.R .Narayanan Study Centre organized a state level deliberation on 10^th December 2011 at S.P.C.S Auditorium near Malayala Manorama Office, Kottayam on the contributions of Kerala’s proud son and former Indian President late Dr. K.R. Narayanan so as to enrich democratic values and ethos in the century. The Symposium was inaugurated by Shri K.M. Mani, Hon. State Minister for Finance & Law.  Shri Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan, Hon. Minister for Revenue and Vigilance presided over the function.Presentations were made by Prof. P.J Kurian M.P., Amba. (Rtd.) T.P. Sreenivasan IFS, Vice-Chairman, The Kerala State Higher Education Council, Prof. (Dr) Rajan Gurukkal, Vice-Chancellor, M.G. University and Dr. M.S. John, Professor ( IIT Madras).

ENVIRONMENT DAY CELEBRATIONS

    

The Study centre celebrated environment day with diverse activities. Renowned activist Dr. M.K. Prasad delivered the keynote address. He warned about the present environmental issues and human influence on nature. He also explained about the significance of Environment day.  Dr. Francis Cyriac E., Principal, presided over the function. Sri. Mons Joseph MLA presented the Paristhithi Mithra award of CEERD. Sri. George Kulangara made a speech after receiving the plastics collected by the study centre. Sri. P.L. Abraham, President, Uzhavoor Grama Panchayath has felicitated on the occation. Dr. Mercy Philip welcomed the gathering and Sri. Jais Kurian extended the vote of thanks.
